Deborah Banks BAppSocSci(Couns), M.A.C.A. (Level 4) is a trauma informed counsellor, psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with nine years experience post qualification. She is a Level 4 clinical member of the Australian Counselling Association.

Prior to opening her first private practice seven years ago, Deborah was the CEO and counsellor at Lou's Place, a daytime refuge for women in Kings Cross. Deborah was a council member of the Corrective Services NSW Women's Advisory Council and has held positions on the boards of Domestic Violence NSW and the Mental Health Coordinating Council.

Deborah is a trauma counsellor, an accredited mental health practitioner and she specialises in supporting people who have been subjected to domestic violence. She is a registered Victims Services counsellor (NSW), Victim Support counsellor (ACT), NDIS provider and SIRA workers compensation approved counsellor. Deborah draws on a range of theoretical approaches to meet you at your point of need.
